So Proud.

So a friend of ours took this picture of Barnabas at church today and doctored it up a bit. Sigh. That's my man!

I <3 NY

Happy 3rd Birthday Zeke!!!

Our baby is 3! How did this happen? He actually turned 3 while Barnabas and I were in NY so we had his party this weekend. It took him a little while to figure out what all the hubbub was about but when he saw his cake he put it all together "Happy Birthday cake me!!!!" and would run and look at the decorations and jump up and down. He had a wonderful time. Here are some photos from the party.
The incredibly wonderful cake made by my friend Jen.
Mmmmmmmm tacos!
Happy Birthday to you..............
Sweet little birthday boy.
Finally blew out the candles! (It took 4 attempts!)
Devouring the cake.
The boy loves hats!
He got it to balance!
He wanted to keep the hat on while opening presents.

Our Day in the City

This is 30 Rockefeller Plaza.

This is the Broadway show Dad and I went to. It was so fun! They wouldn't let us take any pictures during the show though.

The crazy things you see on the New york streets! :)
The Empire State Building.
We went to China town for dinner. Dad was very hungry! Believe it or not he ate it all!! (I helped with the soup though)
Grace can you translate?
Asa can you see what is written on the man's chest?
Though the boys would like the Manhattan Firefighters.

This is for Grandpa

Look how big the fig tree is!!!

Our First Day in Port Washington

Uncle Joe's bit of the garden in his front yard. Can you spot the seal?
Long Island Sound as seen from the yard of the "Castle".

Horseshoe Crab. Isn't it big? You can tell how big it is becaues Dad put his foot by it.
This is what it looks like from underneath.

A Castle in NY!

The front of the Castle.
Can you see the Bride and Groom in this picture?
So this Castle was property of the governor a long long time ago. It has now turned into a public park. It is beautiful and a very common place to get wedding pictures taken. We saw 3 separate couples getting their wedding pictures taken here. So Asa we found a castle in NY, I didn't think we would but you seemed to know better! Tomorrow we will be going to a party at Uncle Angelo's house and I will take lots of pictures of all of the family and post them for you Grace (since you are the one who put "family" on the list).
